Barrett Shelby Cook, son of Caleb Shelby Cook and Kimberly Lyn McKinney, was born at 4:02 pm on Friday December 3, 2021, at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Shortly afterwards, he went to join the Angels in Heaven with his parents by his side.

Little Barrett will be remembered by his parents Caleb and Kimberly; three brothers, Colt, Ruger, and Remington; maternal grandparents, Darren and Teddi McKinney; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Zoe Halcrombe; maternal great-grandparents, Doyle and Wanda Heath; paternal great-grandmother Mary Cook; Aunts and Uncles: Taylor Kennedy, Cody Kennedy and husband Caleb, Christy Neave and husband Martin, Tramayne Webster, Ashley Halcrombe, Jerry Halcrombe Jr  and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

He was met in Heaven by his maternal great-grandparents Darrell McKinney and Sammie Lou Poplin; paternal great-grandparents Louis Cook and Ben and Amie Halcrombe; great aunts Dawn Morris, Mary Strickland, Altha Ann Fowler and cousins, Garrett Gibson and Noah Cook.

A private graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday December 10, 2021, at the Cook Family Cemetery, located at 260 South 1st Street, Fairfax, Oklahoma. Pastor Jake Bruno will officiate.  Arrangements are with Hunsaker Wooten Funeral Home.

Even though Barrett did not live long, he left behind a family that will miss him dearly.
