Tressie Hey

Tressie R. Hey passed to her eternal home on June 3, 2017. She will be with the Lord and her Mother, Father, brothers and sisters. She is survived by her two sons: Ellis Dwight Lyons, Claremore and Robert Lyons of Fairfax.

Tresa, as she liked to be called, was born in Lubbock, Texas September 5, 1928. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Hey of Moline, KS. She has one sister, Mary Nixon of Knoxville, Tenn.

Tresa was a ‘shoot from the hip' type of person with a heart of gold. She loved to cook for her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her friends. Her hobbies were quilting, knitting and visiting with her good friend Gladys Buechler of Fairfax.

She loved her grandchildren, Roy Byron Lyons of Claremore; Kristy Doughty, from Brazoria, TX; and Melissa Proch, of Vian. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
