Timothy Mather

Timothy J. Mather longtime Fairfax resident passed away Saturday July 2, 2016 in Tulsa, OK. He was 57 years of age. Timothy was born October 31, 1958 in Ludington, Michigan to Jan D. Beltz Johnson.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday July 7, 2016 in the Fairfax Assembly of God Church with Pastor Jay Clapp officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairfax City Cemetery. Timothy served a tour of duty in the U.S. Air Force from 1978 to 1982. He worked for the US Postal Service as a letter carrier for several years. Timothy enjoyed playing Golf, Reading, Fishing and shopping. He was an avid collector of just about anything, enjoying the hunt of that special treasure. Timothy was also a Huge OU fan and a past member of the American Legion.
Timothy was married and he leaves behind: 2 sons; Derek Mather and Shane Mather, His parents Jan and Ray Johnson, 2 brothers; Ted and wife Darla Mather and Tod Skowronski and wife Cheryl all of Fairfax, OK 2 sisters; Lonna Hoskinson of Fairfax, OK and Pam Henrion and husband Paul of Moore, OK; 1 grandson; Noah Mather and numerous Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Great Nephews.
