Thomas Eugene Dilbeck, resident of Hominy, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2009 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa. He was 69. Thomas was born on August 4, 1939 in Pawnee, Oklahoma the son of Eugene Rosco Dilbeck and Audrey Ellen Trent Dilbeck. Thomas grew up in both Fairfax and Grayhorse and graduated from Fairfax Public Schools. He played football in high school and was a huge football fan throughout his life. Thomas married Elizabeth Lavonne Butler on October 16, 1964 in Fairfax. He was employed as an oilfield worker and he later worked for Osage County driving trucks until his retirement. Thomas enjoyed fishing and being involved with his childrens and grandchildrens sporting events. But most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by those that knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth of the home; children, Stacey Kim Piearcy of Hominy, Oklahoma and Christina Lynn Waller and husband, George J. of Middle Enterprise, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Terence Piearcy, Trevor Piearcy, Tanner Piearcy, George Waller, Cole Waller, Christena Nichole Waller, Leah Waller and Ashley Brown; great great grandchildren, Trinity Brown, Haylee Brown, Kendra Brown, Terence Piearcy Jr., Sophie Piearcy, Treva Ellis and Dawson Ellis; and brothers, Fred Dilbeck of Shidler, Oklahoma and Alex Hand of California. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Debbie Ellen Stoneman and Patricia Hand; and grandchildren, Ariel Piearcy and Matthew Waller. Casket bearers for the service will be Terence Piearcy, Trevor Piearcy, Tanner Piearcy, George Waller, Jake Waller and Keith Brown. Honorary bearers will be John Tallchief, Sean Quimby and Tip Asher. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at the Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend George Weston officiating. Burial will follow at Fairfax Cemetery under the direction of Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home.
