Ronald Woodrow Wilson, former resident of the Ralston area, and current resident of Sand Springs, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2011 in Tulsa. He was 61 year of age.

Ronald was born June 28, 1950 in Fairfax, Oklahoma, the son of Woodrow Wilson and Vera Mae Parker Wilson. He received his early education in the Ralston School. He was married to Connie Welch on July 19, 1997 in Fairfax.

Ronald had been a longtime employee with Floral Haven and Memorial Park Cemeteries in the Tulsa area. He was a former member of the Rhema Bible Church in Broken Arrow. His enjoyments were spending time with family, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Connie, of the home his father, Woodrow Wilson, of Prue, Oklahoma three children, Ronald Wilson Jr. and wife, Tina, of Sand Springs, Linda Conrad and husband, Neil, of Fairfax, and Amie Gooch and husband, Bobby, of Terlton, Oklahoma three adopted children, Angel Wilson, Jordan Wilson and Billy Ray Wilson two sisters, Sandra Mae Wilson of Fairfax, and Doris Annetta Stephens and husband Larry, of Avant, Oklahoma two brothers, Donald Wilson and wife, Harriett Jane, of Hominy and Jimmy Leon Wilson of Terlton 13 grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Vera Mae Wiggins and one brother, Larry Ben Wilson.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Fairfax Cemetery with Rev. George Weston presiding. Arrangements are under the direction of the HunsakerWooten Funeral Home of Fairfax.

Casket bearers are Donald Wilson, Ron Wilson, Ricky Gottfried, Bobby Gooch, Neil Conrad and Jacob Wilson. Honorary casket bearer is Isaac Gottfried.
