Robin Elliott

Robin Michelle (Keeler) Elliott passed peacefully on Sunday afternoon, March 25, 2018 at the Fairfax Manor in Fairfax, Oklahoma with her loving family by her side. She was 54.

Born on November 12, 1963 in Wichita, Kansas the daughter of Lester and Carolyn Keeler. She spent most of her life around Sand Springs, Oklahoma where she met and married the love of her life, Chris Elliott. They made their home there as well.

She was a graphic designer for more than 25 years and spent her life creating other wonderful art in many different kinds of media. Robin enjoyed learning and teaching new things in every aspect of her life. At the age of 51, she became an EMT, serving in both Fairfax and the Sand Springs area. She worked with FEMA in the aftermath of Hurricane Ivan, CERT and the Green Country Volunteer Fire Department.

Robin's interest included serving four years as a delegate and chairman to the (TIAC) Tulsa Indian Affairs Commission and volunteering for (IICOT) Intertribal Indian Club of Tulsa.

She leaves to treasure her memory her husband of 35 years, Chris Elliott; her parents, Les and Carolyn Keeler; siblings, Chuck Keeler, Becky Diaz, Kathleen Keeler, Miranda Graham and Natasha Bush; nieces, nephews, as well as great nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Friends and loved ones may pay their respects on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 27 and 28, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Parish Hall, 333 S 8th Street, Fairfax from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

A rosary for the repose of her soul will be prayed at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 28 at the church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 29 also at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fairfax with Father Chris Daigle officiating.

Pall bearers will be Tim Norris, Taylor Elliott, Gabe Graham, Matt Bush, Keith Lawson, Brad Mann, Blake Frederickson and Glenn Quinby. Honorary pall bearers will be great nephews and niece, James Graham, Dray Long, Dayson Long, Bryce Bush, Emma Graham, and Mikael Swem; and Lester Keeler, Clifford Keeler, Frosty Keeler, Sylvester Keeler, Berry Keeler and Frank Culp.

The Rite of Committal will follow at the Pixley Cemetery, west of Fairfax under the direction of Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home of Fairfax.

To reach the cemetery: leaving Fairfax at 8th Street and Harrison, continue west on the old Ponca City River Road (County Road 6300) nine miles, turn south one mile then turn back west for three miles. At this time is a tank battery on the left side of the road that almost obscures the turn to the left. Take the road to the top of the hill and the cemetery is located on the crest, to the right.
