Robert Hall Jr.

September 19, 1960 — December 1, 2014

Robert Wayne Robbie Hall Jr., resident of Fairfax, passed away Monday, December 1, 2014 at his home. He was 54 years of age.

Robbie was born September 19, 1960 in Fairfax, the son of Robert Wayne Hall Sr. and Gwen Edwards Hall. He was a graduate of Pawhuska High School. He was married to Catherine R. Cathy Tanner on April 8, 1982 at Northeast Baptist Church in Ponca City.

He had been employed some 30 plus years with the Osage County District 3 as a road supervisor.
He also was a retired member of the Fairfax Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy, of the home one son, Clifton Hall of Lawrence, Kansas his mother, Gwen Hall of Jenks, Oklahoma aunts Lillian Demello of Mount Angel, Oregon and Jean Corder of Coeur d Alene, Idaho uncles Don Edwards of Norman, Oklahoma and Gordon Edwards of Hominy sistersinlaw Linda Moody, Inola, Oklahoma and Lee Lee Tanner, Milfay, Oklahoma nieces Marlaina Moody of Ralston, Audrey Rose Rogers, Inola, Oklahoma and Colleen Glass of Claremore, Oklahoma one nephew, Joshua Glass of Claremore numerous cousins and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wayne Hall Sr. paternal grandparents Alma Lee Hall and Edgar Hall maternal grandparents Hazel Lee and Bill T. Edwards.

Robbie was a member of the First Osage Baptist Church of Fairfax. His enjoyments included hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, watching sports, especially NASCAR, and being with his family. He also played the bass guitar and loved to sing. He also loved his time with the Old Geezers music makers.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the First Osage Baptist Church with Pastor Dennis Wildman of the Burbank Baptist Church presiding. Interment will follow in the Fairfax Cemetery under the direction of the HunsakerWooten Funeral Home.

Casket bearers are Clifton Hall, Joshua Glass, Grover Shelts, Mark Shelts, Phil Shelts and Steve Gibson. Honorary casket bearers are the Fairfax Volunteer Fire Department and the Osage County District 3 Road Department.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Osage Baptist Church, 236 South Main, Fairfax, Oklahoma 74637 or the Fairfax Fire Department, 150 East Elm, Fairfax, Oklahoma 74637.
