Raymond Harp

Sonny Raymond Harp ran to meet Jesus on Tuesday, September 2, 2014. He was 60 years of age.

Sonny was born on December 4, 1953 in Fairfax, Oklahoma, the son of Raymond and Jean Norton. Sonny attended the Fairfax Schools. He served his country in the United States Army National Guard. He loved to hunt and fish and loved his family and grandkids. Sonny was a true prayer warrior that prayed continually for his family, friends and church.

He is survived by his mother, Jean Norton, of the home one sister, Susie Renfro and husband Sam, of Ralston three children, Tiffany Burch and husband Eric, of Fairfax, Kenny Harp of Fairfax, and James Harp and wife Jamie, of Norman, Oklahoma 10 grandchildren 1 great grandchild and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Norton one sister, Beverly Thurber and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Ralston First Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Neefe presiding. Burial will follow in the Ralston Riverside Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the HunsakerWooten Funeral Home of Fairfax.

Casket bearers are Haydon Bergman, Jake Harp, Jesse Harp, Eric Burch, Dakota Lemon and Blaine Roberts. Honorary casket bearer is Billy Roberts.
