Phil was born Wednesday, January 3, 1951 in Fairfax, Okla., the son of Raymond Edward Brotherton and Clarene Imogene (Johnson) Brotherton.  Raised and educated in Ralston, he was a proud 1969 graduate of the Ralston Tigers.  He joined his classmates just last year for their 50th reunion on Labor Day weekend.
