Marvin Douglas Brandt Marvin Douglas Brandt, resident of Fairfax, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2009 near Fairfax. He was 38 years of age. Marvin was born April 3, 1971 at Fort Wayne, Indiana, the son of Jerald Vern Brandt and LaVerne Lambdin Brandt. His early education was received in the Tulsa and Prue, Oklahoma schools. He had moved to the Fairfax community in April of 1992. Marvins enjoyments included playing with his children and his nieces and nephews, fishing, hunting, and listening to old country music songs. Marvin had a special love for children and enjoyed having cookouts and sharing other times with them. He is survived by his mother, LaVerne Money and husband, Ronald, of Fairfax; his father, Jerald Brandt of Auburn, Indiana; one daughter, Raven Green of Tulsa; three brothers, Johnny Brandt, Joe Brandt and John Lee Brandt; six sisters, Ruby Barden, Darla Brandt, Lisa Marie Powell, Tammy Money, Danielle Brandt and June Ann Brandt; his fianc, Bobbie Lee; eight step-children, Johnny Brandt Davis, Jennifer Brandt Koch, Rhonda Brandt Davis, Michael Brandt Hannah, Matthew Lee Brandt, Jeremiah Lee Brandt, Isaiah Lee Brandt and Malachi Lee Brandt; three step-grandchildren, Landon Koch, Matthew Koch and Nicholas Koch; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Paul and Ruby Weidamann; his maternal grandparents; James and Ruby Lambdin; two brothers, Brett Money and Scott Money; one grandmother, Ilah Mae Money. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2009 at the Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home of Fairfax. Rev. Lewis Bernard will be the officiating minister.
