Lora Belle Wilson Fields, resident of Fairfax, passed Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. She was 80 years of age.

Lora was born October 18, 1932 in Waldron, Arkansas, the daughter of Jim Louis Wilson and Parlie Catlett Wilson. Her early education was in the Booneville and Ione, Arkansas schools. She married Rudolf Fuller in Ralston, Oklahoma, and later married Charles E. Fields on September 13, 1964 in Durant, Oklahoma. Lora traveled with her husband during his Air Force days and they retired in Norman, Oklahoma.

She was a devoted worker and very caring, first working at the Ralston Laundry in the 1950s and then working for Ralston Osage Grocery and Fairfax Palace Grocery. She had also worked in Stillwater, Oklahoma, Oklahoma City, and Kansas City, Missouri before retiring in Norman, Oklahoma in 1988. She retired from the Safeway grocery store chain, and always took pride in her employment always neatly dressed as a professional worker and precision checker. Her enjoyments included listening to country music, shopping, and traveling.

She is survived by her husband, Charles one stepson, Kenny Fields of Idaho several grandchildren, Candi Moore, Kelley Beebe of Idaho, Joey Fields of California and Curtis of Norman two brothers, Lucien Wilson of Perry, Oklahoma and Donald Lee Wilson and wife, Charlene, of Fairfax, and sisterinlaw, Lois Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her parents one stepson, Robert Fields two brothers, Delbert and James Wilson three sisters, Anna Davis, Elwie Crenshaw and Verda Crenshaw and two sistersinlaw, Mary Ellen Wilson and Estell Wilson.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at the Fairfax, Oklahoma Cemetery, with George Weston, Pastor officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of HunsakerWooten Funeral Home of Fairfax.
