Lillian J. Bradsher, longtime resident of Fairfax, passed away Thursday morning, July 1, 2010 at the Fairfax Manor Nursing Home. She was 86.

Lillian was born February 5, 1924 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, the daughter of Leo Gann and Maude Scott Gann. She received her early schooling in the Sallisaw area schools. After living in California, Mrs. Bradsher and family moved to the Fairfax area in 1970. She was a nurses aide for several years and then continued to care for others as a home health nurse. She was a member of the Fairfax Full Gospel Assembly and her enjoyments included being with her family, working with her flowers and visiting with others.

She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie Morgan of Anderson, South Carolina two sons, Lloyd Kendrick and Harold Kendrick, both of Fairfax three sisters, Willis Hood, Lorene Powers and Pauline Hunt 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents one son, Johnny McReynolds, one infant daughter, Lois Jean two brothers, Jess Gann and Floyd Gann two sisters, Ora Melton and Ann Vaughn.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at the HunsakerWooten Funeral Home in Fairfax with Rev. Gary Holt presiding. Interment will be in the Fairfax City Cemetery.

Casket bearers are Dave Kendrick, Chuck Linders, Steve Patton, Larry Dooley, Terry Dooley and James Elliott. Honorary casket bearers are Frank Haines and Earnest Hood.
