Lena Moore

Lena Dell Moore Lena Dell Moore, longtime resident of Ralston, passed away Monday, December 15, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. She was 93. Lena was born November 28, 1915 in Pea Ridge, Arkansas, the daughter of Lonzo Silvaster Keeling and Roxie Telie Rice Keeling. Lena had been employed as a home health care worker and was a member of the Rebeccah Lodge and the Fun Club. Her enjoyments included working puzzles, playing dominos, taking care of her yard and her two pet geese. She is survived by her five daughters, Wilma Sikes, Norman, Oklahoma, Virginia Mathis, Fairfax, Oklahoma, Margie Blackwell, Upland, California, Joyce Hickson, Jennings, Oklahoma, and Linda Smith, Ponca City, Oklahoma; one brother, Lloyd Keeling of Ponca City; 21 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three daughters, Wanda Chaney, Carolyn Lorene Moore and Bettie Louise Barker; one son, Darrell Moore; two sisters, Leona Beattie and Letha Dickson; three brothers, Luther Keeling, Clyde Keeling and Arthur Keeling. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2008 in the Chapel of the Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home with the Rev. George Weston presiding. Interment will follow in the Fairfax Cemetery under the direction of the Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home. Casket bearers will be Ben Blackwell, Rick Mathis, Adam Miller, David Smith, Cody Powell, Darrell Keeling, David Keeling, Ron Alexander and Stefan Bryan.
