Joyce Martin

Joyce Elaine Martin, resident of Fairfax Manor the past few years and longtime Burbank resident passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 at the age of 66.

Joyce was born September 17, 1950 in Ada, Oklahoma the daughter of Vernon Crane and Anita Martin. She attended school at Ada, Oklahoma graduating in 1967. She went on to obtain her LPN license and worked at the Fairfax Manor in Fairfax, Oklahoma for over 25 years.

She was married to Robert Martin on August 15, 1977 in Arkansas City, Kansas. They lived in Texas before coming to Oklahoma in 1979. Her enjoyments included visiting with friends and neighbors, working for many years on her Ranch and traveling.

She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Martin of the home in Burbank: four sons, T. J. Alexander, Curtis Martin and Charlie Martin all of Burbank and Scott Collins of Ponca City, Oklahoma. One brother, Clyde Crane of Georgia. Her parents preceded her in death as well as one brother and one sister.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Burbank Baptist Church with Pastor Dennis Wildman, presiding. Arrangements are under the direction of Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home of Fairfax.
