Jordan Alexander McMurray

February 15, 1996 — April 12, 2026

Shidler, Oklahoma

Jordan Alexander McMurray, passed away on April 12, 2026, in Shidler, Oklahoma. Born on February 15, 1996, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Jordan lived a life marked by unwavering dedication to his family and commitment to hard work.

Jordan's career was in the oilfield industry, where he applied his skills to building tanks for agricultural use and servicing windmill farms.

Those who knew Jordan would speak of his remarkable character—a hard worker dedicated to ensuring his children had everything they needed. His pride and joy came from the life he built for himself and his family, rising above difficult circumstances through sheer determination and strength. Jordan’s greatest accomplishment was not measured in professional success alone but in the love, stability, and opportunities he afforded to his children, becoming the role model he always aspired to be.

Jordan found happiness in the simple yet profound pleasures of life. He cherished riding dirt bikes, taking his children out on the Razor, and spending time on his Harley. He loved to share his passion for hunting and the outdoors with his children and the love of his life and life long partner Courtney Carothers. These shared moments created lasting memories that his family will hold dear for years to come.

He leaves behind his beloved children: daughters Elana Rose McMurray, Paisley Renee McMurray, Saige Marie McMurray, and his son Leo Alexander McMurray; life long partner Courtney Carothers, long-time friend Tim Roberts and family, his sister Jazmin McMurray, brother Johnathan McMurray, and sister Jozlyn McMurray, his father, Phillip Wesley “Wes” McMurray, his mother, Dena McMurray-Vaden, his grandfather Robert “Bob” Vaden and step-grandmother Lisa Vaden.

Jordan is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Philip Wesley McMurray Sr., paternal grandmother Regina Lynn Hutchison-McMurray, and maternal grandmother Janice Diane Duplissey.
