Janise Ann Coleman, lifelong resident of the Fairfax community, passed away Saturday evening, July 24, 2010 at the Fairfax Hospital. She was 71.

Janise was born June 22, 1939 at Fairfax, the daughter of Roy Gibson and Anita Horn Gibson. She was a 1957 graduate of Fairfax High School. She was married to Jack C. Coleman on September 21, 1957 at Pawnee, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Coleman was a florist in Fairfax for the past 35 years and in earlier years was in retail sales with the Anthonys Store and Big Hill Trading Company. She also had worked at the Fairfax Cleaners. Her enjoyments included sewing, quilting, watching her favorite movies that were The Man From Snowy River and My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys. She especially enjoyed her time spent with her family and friends. She loved being with all her grandchildren and was very proud of each of them.

She is survived by her mother, Anita Gibson one sister, Edna Gibson and two brothers, Justin Gibson and Jeff Gibson, all of Fairfax one son, Tony Coleman, and wife, Tami, of Ponca City one daughter, Jackye Renea Kill and husband, Tim, of Pawhuska former soninlaw, Richard Thompson of Searcy, Arkansas four grandchildren, and one stepgrandchild, Tone Rae Seeliger, Brandon Clinton Coleman, Richard Quinn Thompson, Buffye Annette Parker and MaKenzie Prater ten great grandchildren, Layne Nicole Petty, Galin Petty, Kadin Seeliger, Jaylea Renea Seeliger, Kobiye Jack Seeliger, Jadyn Rae Seeliger, Baley Coleman, Michael Creighton Parker, Mikayla Annette Parker and Laura Ann Prater many other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Gibson her husband, Jack Coleman two brothers, Walter Hayden Gibson and Roy Hurley Bud Gibson Jr., and one nephew, Timothy Gibson.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at the First Christian Church of Fairfax with Pastor Gary Holt presiding, assisted by former Pastor, George Weston. Burial will follow in the Fairfax Cemetery under the direction of the HunsakerWooten Funeral Home.

Casket bearers are Richard Thompson, George Pease III, Lee Shea, Troy Chitwood, Billy Earl Adkins and Bob Stephens. Honorary casket bearers are Dr. Rick Crenshaw, Dr. James Graham, Don Wilson, Frank Haines, J. Berry Harrison, Wayne Rhoades and Roy Frances Goad Jr.
