Gregory Edward Wofford II
Gregory Edward Wofford II, resident of Fairfax, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 in Afton, Oklahoma. He was twentyseven years of age.
Gregory was born June 13, 1984 in Pawnee, Oklahoma, the son of Gregory Wofford I and Hillary Drexil Wofford. He was a 2002 graduate of Woodland High School, and attended Pioneer Technology Center in Ponca City.
Gregory was a spontaneous, social person who loved visiting with his friends and family. He loved a good adventure and trying new things. He enjoyed music, and while in high school, played in a jazz band. He was a fan of OU football, and his many adventures included fishing, snow skiing and skating.
He is survived by his maternal grandmother, Bobbie Drexil of Fairfax daughter, Ashlyn Wofford of Ponca City two brothers, Alex Wofford of Stillwater, Lewis Wofford of Tulsa sister, Elizabeth Irons of Oklahoma City paternal grandfather, Albert Wofford of Pryor, five uncles, Mike Wofford, Harold Wofford, Gerald Wofford, Albert Wofford, Jr. and John Drexil three aunts, Kimberly Medley, Adrienne Drexil, and Vicki Woodruff and numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hillary Williams and Gregory Edward Wofford I maternal grandfather, Francis Drexil, and paternal grandmother, Lena Wofford.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at First Osage Baptist Church of Fairfax, with pastor, Wayne Taylor, officiating. Interment will follow at Fairfax Cemetery under the direction of HunsakerWooten Funeral Home.
Casket bearers will be Ted Bubber Mashburn, Jr., Huey Wolfvoice, Hank Almond, Matt Beartrack, Isaiah Lasley, Steve Milam, Rick Dummer and Jeff Lunsford.
