On the quiet, serene morning of Friday, February 27, 2026 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a beautiful spirit ascended to Heaven. At the OSU Medical Center, in her room holding her husband Terry’s hand with her daughter by her side. Glenda received her wings and went home to Heaven.
A funeral will be held at 10a.m., Tuesday, March 3rd at the First Baptist Church in Burbank, OK with Pastor Dennis Wildman officiating. Pallbearers are Darrell Kinkade, John McClelland, Joe O’Brien, Matthew Spears, Eddie Bishop, Logan Northcutt and Honorary Jerry Moore. Burial will immediately follow in the Burbank Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 2nd at the Hunsaker Wooten Funeral Home Chapel (201 N 4th St., Fairfax) from 3pm to 7pm. Hunsaker Wooten has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
Born Glenda Carol Bryan on Jan. 1st, 1953 to the loving parents Tommie Bryan and Ernestine Harris in Paducah, TX. She moved to Carlsbad, NM in 1954. She graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1970 and later attend Beauty School. She met the love of her life and married that lucky fellow, Terry Willard, on Aug. 30, 1974. They were married for 51 amazing years.
Survivors include her husband, Terry Willard of Burbank, OK; children Sherry Kinkade and Darrell of Ponca City, OK; Stacy Willard and Tracie of Hobbs, NM; Lora Miller of Summerville, SC; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Brother Duane Bryan and Dove of Roswell, NM; sister Tammy Thompson and Dan of Carlsbad, NM.
Preceding her in death, her parents Tommie and Ernestine Bryan, son Steve Barnes and granddaughter Chellsey Riley.
Glenda was employed by the City of Burbank as the secretary of Town Hall. She was also a volunteer fire fighter with the city. She was a member of Burbank First Baptist Church for over 25 years.
Glenda was a loving sister, daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a very special lady that would help anyone in need. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
