Ermal Lois Wells, former resident of Shidler, passed Friday, February 1, 2013 at the Fairfax Manor Nursing Home. She was 85 years of age.

Ermal was born March 27, 1927 in Stone County, Missouri, the daughter of William Lee Jackson and Gladys Eva Jackson. She attended the Red Rock, Oklahoma schools. She was married to Orin James Thompson on September 10, 1945 in Winfield, Kansas. She was then married to Floyd Raymond Wells on June 29, 1970. In past years she was employed as a CAN with the Highland Nursing Home of Ponca City. She was a member of the Webb City Church of God Church where she was very active in past years. Her enjoyments included camping, painting wood ornaments, gardening and reading.

She is survived by three sons, James Thompson and wife, Vicky, of Webb, City, Michael Wayne Thompson of Tulsa, and Harold Jay Thompson of Houston, Texas her daughterinlaw, Linda Thompson of Fairfax three stepchildren, Shirley Seals, Gary Wells and Diana Reaves 22 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces nephews, cousins and other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents her husbands three children, Larry Thompson, Marsha Lynn Thompson and Vicki Wells her siblings, Adella Jewel, Doris Estella, Leo Charles, Harold William and Carl Eugene.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at the Red Rock, Oklahoma Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the HunsakerWooten Funeral Home of Fairfax.
