Edward H Moses, resident of Pawhuska, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the Pawhuska Hospital. He was 65 years of age.

Edward was born March 12, 1948 in Oklahoma City, the son of Frank Leader Moses and Vivian Mae Osage Moses. He attended the Fairfax Schools and graduated high school at St. Gregorys in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was attending the Catholic University in St. Louis when he was drafted by the Army to serve in Vietnam. Eddie was a photographer, owning his own business. He was a member and past commander of the American Legion Post 198 in Pawhuska. He had lived in Pawhuska the past 15 years.

He is survived by his children Hallie Freeman of Springfield, Missouri, Becky Beech of Mannford, Oklahoma and Michael Osage Moses of Tulsa, the son of Helen Moses 7 grandchildren, Corey Allen Scott Moses, Jacob Daniel Moses, Kaizer Aeryn Coachman, Jayden Osage Moses, Joshua Michael Moses, Emily Marie Beech and Jonathon Carter Deherrera last surviving aunt, Corean Leland a special friend, Wilda Schwartz numerous other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents one son, Edward Scott Moses two brothers, Andrew Knuckles and Clifford Kemohah, Jr. one granddaughter, Mariah Beech.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the Grayhorse Tribal Chapel, located southeast of Fairfax. John RedEagle will preside over the services. Burial will follow in the A.J. Powell Cemetery at Hominy, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of the HunsakerWooten Funeral Home in Fairfax.
