Earnie Williams

d. July 1, 2009

It was two thirty, early morning, on July 1, 2009, that God chose to call home His beloved, Earnie Lee Williams. With a host of loved ones gathered at his side, he took that one way journey home. We who gathered felt comforted in knowing that he had loved and given his life to God. In fact, it was on May 18, 2008, while attending First Baptist Church of Raytown, Missouri that Earnie accepted Christ as his personal Savior. His Dear Mother, Janette Williams, presently residing in Fairfax, and his Father, Cornelius Williams Sr, who preceded him in death, were so proud to welcome their sixth child, who was born on September 11, 1952. On May 24, 1985 Earnie married the Love of his life, Brenda Thompson. To this union was born two children, Antwahn Tyelyn Sugar. Earnie worked for the last 13 years as a Forklift Driver for CKS Packing in the Kansas City area. Earnie leaves to cherish his memories: His wife, Brenda Williams of Raytown, Mo, Cathy Nathaniel Phillips , Marilyn Michael Post , Denise Michael Cadwell, all of Kansas City ,Janice Williams , Leo Jackie Williams, Leon Peggy Williams all of California, Neil Goldie Williams, Michael Williams , Patricia John McGinnes all of Oklahoma. His children: Antwahn, Mesia, Tyelyn, Tonya, Tho-mon, Sherhea and Robert. All were very special and dear to his heart also a host of Grandchildren who loved to call him Paw-Paw. Aunts and Uncles: Cecil Velma Williams, Curtis Jeanna Williams, Jesse Mildrew House, Catherine Williams, and Geneva Kemp plus a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives. Dear God, we Thank You for granting us the joy, peace and memories of knowing and loving Earnie Lee Williams. Oh How he touched our hearts in a very special way. We will truly miss Earnies loving smile and free spirit. Visitation from 11 a.m. to Noon on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at the Sweet Home Baptist Church in Fairfax. Funeral service will be held at Noon. Burial will be in the Fairfax Cemetery under the direction of the Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home
