Danny Earl Moore was born April 8, 1941 to Orval and Maxine (Gracey) Moore in Shidler, Oklahoma. He graduated from Burbank with the class of 1959. Danny married the late Linda Lou States on August 25, 1963 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. During their 49 years of marriage, they had two children, daughter Dana Renne Holt and son, Danny Earl Moore II, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Danny worked outside the home at Bowers Saw Mill, building the Kaw Dam for 7 years, before starting his own cattle feed business along with ditching and custom hay hauling, before going to Halliburton as a warehouse man. Danny then pursued driving the bus for Shidler and Burbank Schools, he went on the road working with his son Danny a few years before retiring. Retirement brought him time to do what he loved of running cattle on his land in Burbank. Danny loved being around his family.
Danny is survived by his mother Maxine Moore of Burbank; daughter Dana and husband Jesse of Shidler; son Danny and wife Monica of Burbank and over 20 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Orval Moore, wife Linda Moore, grandson Dalton Holt and great grandson Cayden Hughs.
Danny will be missed by everyone he has ever touched in his life.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 15, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Burbank with Pastor Dennis Wildman officiating. Burial will follow in the Burbank Cemetery under the direction of the Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home in Fairfax, Oklahoma.
Visitation hours will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 14, 2016 with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home in Fairfax, Oklahoma.
Danny passed away April 9, 2016 in Beaumont, Texas.
