Billie Maxine Dale passed away Sunday, September 29, 2019, at her home in Arkansas City, Kansas surrounded by her loving family at the age of 90.  Billie was born in Fairfax, Oklahoma on August 31, 1929 to Harry and Bernice (Harp) Sisseck.
Billie attended school in Cherryville, Kansas and graduated in 1947 from Cherryville High.  She continued her education by receiving her Associate’s Degree in Nursing majoring in Respiratory Therapy.  Billie enjoyed her career as a respiratory therapist working at the hospital in Ponca City for many years.  While working and raising her daughters; Shirley Rene and Tenna Fay, she made time to support her girls and their education by volunteering with the PTA.
On February 8, 2008, Billie married Larry Dale in Ponca City, Oklahoma.  The two of them then made their home in Arkansas City, Kansas.  Together they enjoyed 11 years together as husband and wife before her passing.
Billie will be dearly missed by her husband; Larry Dale, daughters; Shirley Rene Blackwell and Tenna Fay Stafford, grandchildren; Jimmy Walker, Jackey Walker, Becky Sells, Kirk Childers, Brandi Tinsley and Buffi Burr, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, her sister; Bertice Owenby and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Harry and Bernice Sisseck, brother; Charles Sisseck and sister; Shirley Pearson.
A Memorial Service will be held in Billie’s honor at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at Hunsaker Wooten Funeral Home, 201 N 4th St, Fairfax, Oklahoma with Pastor Christopher Fleet presiding.
