Opal
Moore
May 4, 2026 — Sep 15, 2026
Tuesday
Fairfax City Cemetery Pavilion
2:00 - 3:00 pm (Central time)
Baby Opal Dawn Moore passed away peacefully and took her final rest in the arms of her loving parents, Annie and James on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at the Rural Wellness Hospital in Fairfax, Oklahoma.
She came into the lives of Barnet "James" Moore and Annie May Kristina Moore on Monday, May 4, 2026 joining her sister Sage. Although little Opal only spent four months and 11 days with us, she was immensely loved and brought immeasurable joy and laughter to those around her.
She began her journey at OU Children's Hospital and was transferred to the NICU where she fought for her life for 114 days before coming home to Fairfax. Home was a blessing, especially getting to see mom, dad, and sister daily. She had three of the greatest weeks of her life at home.
Enjoying her time at home, her days included going to the park in her double stroller with sister Sage, seeing mom and dad on a steady basis, and visiting dear friends Jaxon & Gabbreael, Matt & Tarra, Nenee, her grandparents, and other family.
One of her favorite activities was swinging in her electric swing, swaying back and forth, from side to side while big sister Sage kept a watch on her. Often days Opal and sister Sage could be found at the park going for a walk in their double stroller. Going to the park was always a treat!
She joined her wonderful maker and met for the first time great grandparents who were waiting for her at Heaven's gates including Hazel Moore, Lillian Gibson, Millie Nadine Ingram, Sam Duncan, James & Neoma Aston, and other past generations. Now she will be watching over all of us and keeping us safe.
Opal will be forever cherished and remembered by mom Annie and dad James; big sister Sage Moore; grandparents Barney (Donna) Moore of Fairfax, Jerry (Lucindy) Ingram of Depew, and Julie Silveria of Depew; great grandparents Clyde Moore of Fairfax, Lynn Ingram of Depew, and Danny (Mary) Leigh of Glencoe; aunts and uncles Garrett Moore of Fairfax, Grant Moore of OKC, Chris Gibson of Bristow, Jesse (Callie) Ingram of Shawnee, Whitney Ingram, Ashley Ingram, Crystal Stewart all of Depew, Lilly Ingram of Tahlequah, Jasmine Ingram of Shawnee, and Miranda Rossouw of Stroud.
Further survived by great aunts and uncles Jim (Linda) Moore of Bartlesville, Clint (Lori) Aston of Morris, Jane (Desmond) DeLeon of Fairfax, Jo Ellen Sholl of Pawhuska, Linda Ingram, Steven Ingram each of Depew, David Ingram of Edmond, Jimmy Ingram of Sapulpa, Sean (Janet) Duncan of Stillwater, and a host of other family members.
Graveside service will be 2PM, Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at the Fairfax City Cemetery Pavillion with Russ Hughes of the First Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow in block A of the Fairfax City Cemetery. Words of encouragement, condolences, and expressions of sympathy can be shared at www.hunsakerwootenfuneralhome.com
