Funeral services for Annita Gibson, long time resident of the Fairfax area,
will be held at First United Methodist church in Fairfax on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. George Weston and Richard Ayers will be the Pastors officiating.

Mrs. Gibson passed away Tuesday morning, June 5, 2012 in her home. She was 90 years old.

Annita was born August 23, 1921 in Quinton Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Burl and Rosy Fielder Horn. On October 1, 1938, Annita Horn married Roy Gibson Sr. in Fairfax, Oklahoma. The couple lived in the Sunny Slope, Ralston and Fairfax areas.

Annita worked at Hoopers Grocery Store, Palace Grocery, Pawnee Hospital, and was also employed by Fairfax Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed quilting and working, and deeply loved her family.

She is survived by one daughter, Edna Gibson two sons, Justin Gibson and Jeff Gibson, all of Fairfax one sister, Iva Marshall, of DeNair, California and one brother, Wayne Horn, of Gates, Oregon sixteen grandchildren several great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Gibson Sr. one daughter, Janise Ann Coleman two sons, Roy Hurley Bud Gibson Jr. and Walter Haden Gibson one grandson, Timothy Gibson her parents, Burl Horn and Rosy Fletcher Horn one sonnlaw, Jack C. Coleman one brother, Chester Horn and two sisters, Wanima Fanell, and Jean Daniels.

Casket bearers will be Scott Gibson, Quinn Thompson, Tim Kill, Ronnie Gibson, Greg Gibson, and Tony Coleman. Honorary casket bearers will be Bob Paslay, Frank Haines, Dr. Rick Crenshaw, Dr. James Graham, and Denny Heath.

Services are under the direction of HunsakerWooten Funeral Home of Fairfax.
