Alan Keith Yandell, resident of Fairfax, died Sunday, November 4, 2012 at St. Francis Medical Center in Tulsa. He was 47.
Keith was born January 10, 1965 in Fairfax, Oklahoma, the son of Charles Eugene Yandell and Madeline McKinney Yandell. He graduated from Ross Case High School in 1983. On August 25, 1989, he married Kaylynn Gunter. To this union two daughters were born, Destinee and Desiree Yandell. At the time of his passing, Keith was employed as a metal foundry finishing supervisor. His enjoyments included hunting, fishing, watching his girls play ball, hanging out with friends, and taking his twin Boston terriers out for rides every night.
Keith is survived by his wife, Kaylynn Yandell of Fairfax parents, Eugene and Madeline Yandell of Fairfax and daughters, Destinee Yandell of Tulsa and Desiree Yandell of Fairfax. He was preceded in death by two brothers Kevin and Kyle Yandell and one sister, Kara Potter.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 7th at 2:00 p.m. at Fairfax Cemetery with Pastor George Weston officiating. Casket bearers Billy Smith, Ricky Wilson, David McInturf, Pat Boone, Mike Mashburn, and Charlie Mashburn. Honorary casket bearers are Bill Lytle, Doug Lynn, Brian Lytle, Johnny Wilson, Jimmy Grigg, Steven Kizziar and Mike Burgess.
