Jesse John Ehrlich

Jesse Ehrlich has gone to heaven. He was only 52 years old. Jesse was born on January 30, 1966 in Miami, Florida. When he was just a baby he was adopted by Ralph Ehrlich and Nancy Ruth (Solmon) Ehrlich. He attended Shidler schools from kindergarten through graduation in 1985.

His hobbies included Rodeo, old trucks and cars, listening to classic rock and country music, racing cars, and riding bulls. He was a sharp dresser and always looked nice. He tinkered as a mechanic and was a tried and true Chevy man. Jesse worked as a truck driver for several years. On July 5, 1986 he became a father to his only child, Matthew Ehrlich.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jesse came from a small family and they loved him very much. His son Matthew J. Ehrlich and his wife Katie live in Shidler with Jesses only granddaughter Payson Ehrlich. He also leaves behind two brothers, Marty Ehrlich and his wife Cindy as well as brother Thomas Ehrlich all of Shidler; one sister Laura Lochridge and her husband Tim of Davis, Okla.; several nieces and nephews; and Kelly Eaton Jacques of Shidler.

The family has chosen cremation under the kind guidance of Hunsaker Wooten Funeral Home, Fairfax, Okla.

Memorial Services will be held after the first of the year.

Family and friends may leave a memory for the family at: www.hunsakerwootenfuneralhome.com

So sorry for your loss, Jesse was an amazing person. Will miss seeing you and listening to what wild stories you would tell me of your weekend adventures. You were always a Sweetheart to me and you always had my back when I was at the store, I remember a few occasions when you ran off some jerk for me and then would come in and check on me several times later to make sure they had not returned. You were a good friend and I will miss you. RIP my friend.❤️

Jessie John was.my first cousin, I have loved him from the day he blessed our lives in Miami. I only remember what a sweet boy he was. His path has been rocky at times but he is sail in the smooth seas now. Wrapped in the loving arms of our heavenly father. Now too. Lord comfort us as we smile at boy and bid farewell.

I just wanted to send my condolences to the entire family. Even though I didn’t know him well I know everytime I ran into him he was very nice and usually smiling. We never know why things happen especially when we don’t expect them and most times it makes grieving a lot harder so I am sending prayers and strength for comfort even more so as Christmas approaches.
