Tana Rose (Tallchief) Miville was born January 15, 1957 in Hillsboro, Oregon to George Eves and Vadyn Grace (Thomas) Tallchief. She grew up in Hillsboro before moving to Oklahoma in the mid 1980’s. She was proud of her Osage heritage from her father’s side of the family.
Tana met and married Paul Miville with whom she adopted and raised seven foster children in the Tallchief Mansion in Fairfax. She enjoyed watching her children play sports and seeing them active in FFA. Later, she worked as a maid in Ponca City for the Executive Inn.
Her hobbies included knitting, drawing, crocheting and raising her “yorkies” and other furry pets. In her past time, she loved watching her favorite TV shows and hearing Elvis sing her favorite song “Love Me Tender”.
She is survived by her longtime companion of 15 years Randy Crowell of Fairfax; four sons Dustin Miville of El Reno, Oklahoma; David Miville of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Kevin Miville of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Cory Martin of Cushing, Oklahoma; three daughters Marella Williams of Colorado; Deborah Miville of California and Rebecca Miville of Houston, Texas; brother Tim Tallchief of Jones, Oklahoma; sister George Anna Tallchief of Fairfax; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her “fur babies.”
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Miville; and parents, George and Vadyn Tallchief. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
